I don't know what it is about this time of year that makes me want to climb to the top of every mountain I see. Maybe it is the beautiful spring green colors that are growing everywhere or possibly the velvet antlers sprouting out of the heads of deer, elk, moose, etc. but whatever it is I find it hard to look at the mountains with out wanting to be there. I went fishing with my brother Chad yesterday up to Silver Lake. While were out in our float tubes I spotted several deer poking out of the trees on the hillside above us. As I looked around at the scenery I couldn't help but take deep breaths and think how much I love the being in the outdoors. The air seems so fresh and the water in the lake was so clean it just makes me feel so at home. After a long winter and a lack of outdoor experiences I am ready to grab my backpack and spotting scope and get to one of my favorite trail heads. Those of you who know me understand that me and traditional exercise are like oil and water. Many friends and family would quote me as saying that exercise is "over-rated" (Along with work, school, etc.) but something about hiking in the dark with a headlamp knowing that in a few hours I will be close to 10,000 ft sitting at a predetermined lookout point with my spotting scope, makes what I normally consider exercise and misery, an exciting two hours of anticipation. I know that some may consider being at a trail head at 3:30 a.m. a little bit extreme, but for the few that can understand the insanity this is considered bliss. It is this bliss that I am now craving like a fat dog who wants a bone! ....Anybody with me?

New Video Release!!!

We are excited to anounce the release of our first video, ...A Time to Hunt.
